Why did Solar Works Energy become Epex?
For ten years, homeowners knew us as the solar company. But solar was never the whole job. A panel array is only as good as the roof it sits on, the electrical panel behind it, and the windows and walls that hold the comfort it pays for.
So we kept saying yes: to roofing (earning GAF Master Elite, held by roughly the top 2% of North American roofers), to energy-efficient windows, to battery storage, to panel upgrades and skylights. By 2025, “Solar Works Energy” described a fraction of the work — and with the federal solar landscape changing in 2026, New Mexico families need a partner who looks at the whole home honestly, not one with a single product to sell.
Epex Home Performance is that partner. One local team, one coordinated plan — roof, solar, windows, stucco, and storage working together.
